Welcome addition to Clarence Road. Family owned, and family run ('Max' refers to the owners' young son, as proudly confirmed by his T-shirt). Locally roasted coffee to complement the excellent range of locally baked cakes on offer. Pleased to see plenty of support on the opening day.

What a nice quirky cafe to spend a sunny afternoon in. You walk in and it's very eclectic with upcycled furniture. There is a book corner for borrowing a book and returning on your next visit. The lady is very sweet and polite and chatty. She served us the most delicious creamy hot chocolate, miles better than those bigger brands like Costa. They cater for milk requests (allergy) It was divine, relaxing and I will definitely go back. It was a nice place to speak with clients about their home projects that we at clearyourclosetuk cater for

Loved Max's. It caters to everyone. They have a lovely playroom for children to play in, while I sat and had a coffee. Also, it's lovely that dogs are actively encouraged to visit with their owners. Lovely atmosphere.
